Florida state sales tax rate 2020
The Florida corporate income/franchise tax rate is reduced from 5.5% to 4.458% for taxable years beginning on or after January 1, 2019, but before January 1, 2022. Further reduction in the tax rate is possible for taxable years beginning on or after January 1, 2020, and January 1, 2021. The Florida legislature recently voted to again reduce the sales tax that commercial real estate owners charge and receive from tenants to 5.5 percent in 2020 from its current rate of 5.7 percent.
